I thought it would be a good idea for me to address this head-on before my DMs and emails light up.

Where to start? Well, I’ve just added a showcase video for Jammi’s Taylor Swift folio. It’s an outstanding piece of work and collates web-based material into a single folio that really shows off the potential of what you can do in the folio ecosystem.

Jammi has been one of our FolioPro beta testers since November 23, before I was even calling them ‘folios’. She reached out to me in August of this year after seeing one of my tutorial videos feature a folio that I did based on the Taylor Swift Eras Tour. Jammi is a big fan and was working on a folio of her own based on Swift. We had a quick chat and I encouraged her to keep going with it and share the results when it was finished. I really had no idea it was going to be this good.

Lets start with the stats:

• 339 videos including music videos, lyric videos (who knew?), behind the scenes, live performances and TikToks
• 55 photo galleries using embedded photos from the Getty Image library
• 35 magazines over 15 years
• 100 connection profiles – including the cats!
• A really cool background video with around 40 iconic scenes

All of this comes in at a massive 10.2GB.

Although I’d love to make this available as a download within the app, it’s simply not possible for copyright issues. I’m sure Apple would pull the app from the store. To be fair, Jammi has made it quite clear in the folio’s info screen that she has omitted Swift’s entire discography specifically to avoid copyright issues.

So this isn’t an official folio, but Jammi has published it with a view to it being shared on a peer-to-peer basis so I guess as more and more people get it, it will grow organically.
